MICHIGAN CDC SCHOLARSHIP

MICHIGAN MAY HELP
PAY FOR CHILD CARE.

Michigan’s Child Development and Care Scholarship provides child care assistance in Michigan for eligible working families and may help families pay for daycare. Many of our families receive childcare for FREE. Eligibility and benefit amounts are determined by the State of Michigan and coverage is not guaranteed. Airport Road Christian Learning Center accepts the scholarship, and our team will help you understand the program and complete your application for free.

QUESTIONS ABOUT CDC?

WE'LL HELP
YOU THROUGH IT.

You do not have to figure the scholarship out on your own. Here are the questions families ask us most.

01

What is the CDC Scholarship?

Michigan’s Child Development and Care Scholarship helps eligible families pay for child care while parents or guardians are working, attending school, completing job training, or participating in another qualifying activity.

02

How do I know if I qualify?

Eligibility is based on factors including household income, family size, your child’s age, and why you need child care. If you are unsure, our team can help you understand the requirements.

03

How much will it cover?

Depending on your approval, the scholarship may cover most or all of your child care costs. The amount varies based on your family’s situation, approved hours, and the state’s payment rates.

04

Can you guarantee approval?

No. The State of Michigan makes all eligibility and approval decisions. We can help you understand the program and complete your application correctly.

05

How will ARCLC help me apply?

A member of our team will meet with you for free, help you navigate MI Bridges, explain what information may be needed, and walk you through the application process. You provide the information and personally submit your application.

06

What should I bring?

Helpful information may include identification, household information, recent income documentation, work or school schedules, and information about the children needing care. We will contact you with a more specific list.

07
